Maya Kern is a self-employed comic artist, illustrator, and musicians based in Minneapolis, where she attended the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. She is the creator of Monster Pop!, How to Be a Mermaid, Fairyfail, and various other comics. She has been featured on Comics Alliance, ion, Daily Dot, Ladies Making Comics, Autostraddle, Girls in Capes, and First Inkling. She has successfully run two Kickstarters to self-publish her comics. She spends her days drawing cute things and fending off stinky cats.

Marissa Louise earned her BFA in Painting from Pratt Institute of Fine Arts in Brooklyn, New York and currently lives and works in Portland, Oregon. She is the founder of the Noirwal Illustration Collective. Her illustrations have been featured in The Willamette Weekly, Bear Deluxe Magazine, and McSweeney's Lucky Peach. She has also worked for WFMU, LRG, Nike, and Adidas.

Kyle Latino has been drawing comics since 2009. His first self-published works was GIDEON'S TRIP, which embraced the them new digital format of the iPhone and iPod Touch with a unique scrolling format. Jen Van Meter is a writer of comics best known for her Eisner-nominated Hopeless Savages series from Oni Press, which follows the adventures of a pair of semi-retired punk rock musicians and their eccentric children. She has also written short stories, single issues, and several miniseries for Dark Horse, DC, & Marvel Comics, including the Glyph-nominated Black Lightning: Year One and 2010's Amazing Spider-Man Presents: Black Cat. Born and raised in Fresno, California, Jen received a B.A. in English from Vassar College and an M.A. in Folklore Studies & Literature in English from the University of Oregon. Jen resides in Portland, Oregon with her husband, writer Greg Rucka, and their children. While she knows she will never teach the world to sing in perfect harmony, she likes to imagine getting it to mumble along to Lou Reed's "Walk On The Wild Side" for a few minutes.
